VAIO TruePerformance® Technology

VAIO TruePerformance® is a proprietary technology developed by VAIO® that optimizes power management and heat dissipation mechanisms. It maximizes the processor efficiency and maintains its peak performance over an extended period by uprating CPU power limits and optimizing the cooling mechanism.

Lightweight with Carbon Fiber

Improved rigidity and weight reduction through 3D molded carbon fiber cover. The carbon fiber cover is remarkably thinner and lighter, yet sturdier than conventional material. The bezels on either side of the screen are made with carbon fiber with a goal to enhance durability and reduce weight.

VAIO® has conducted dozens of unique quality tests that envision a variety of usage scenarios, and has also passed quality tests that comply with the US Department of Defense MIL standard (MIL-STD-810H)*, proving its toughness.
